
CVE Students’ field trip to Dokan dam

The purpose of the trip was to provide students with the chance to explore a variety of settings outside of the classroom. The excursion was also one of the class assignments that was acknowledged for giving students excellent learning opportunities and exemplifying how field trips can improve learning process. The majority of the course-related information that the students had studied throughout the semester was learned during the trip, including Dam Management, Hydropower Station, Water Pollution, Streamflow and Rainfall Records, Inflow and Outflow, Soil Type for the Reservoir, and Illustration of Hydraulic Parts of the Dam. The administration of Dokan Dam is acknowledged and highly appreciated by Komar University.
