A field trip to Ashur brick factory

A field trip to Ashur brick factory was organized by Komar University of Science and Technology for the Civil Engineering Students under the supervision of Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Raouf on Oct.18th, 2023.The purpose of the trip was to familiarize the students with the manufacturing process of clay bricks. The students were shown and taught the different stages of brick production and the necessary lab experiments required to test the final brick products before selling and distributing.

The students were assisted by the resident factory engineer Mr. Saman Ghareeb.
