Seko Engineering Materials Lab Field Trip

On Wednesday 26/10/2022, Students from Civil Engineering Departments at KUST conducted a field trip Seko Engineering House and Lab under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed A. Gheni. The group was welcomed by Eng. Sami Sabir from Seko Engineering. Eng. Sami gave a presentation about the importance of testing the construction materials and the reason behind each test. After that, a tour was conducted and covered all section of the labs including aggregate, cement, soil, asphalt, steel and concrete. The students learned firsthand about the importance of testing the quality of materials and how is that related to what are they learning in the university.
